Si. Muchas. Muchos is the male version, and gracia is feminine. Now I have to find the receipts.

I got the Leoben/Starbuck minimates today at Toys R Us. The crappy face mold kept me from getting a "Longshot" Anders figure, but I did pick up the "Civil War Centurion" which is currently towering over my Doctor and Rose action figures in a way that makes me itch to write a BSG/Dr. Who fic.

TRU has the second Minimates wave and also the newest wave of action figures, including "Off-Duty Lee Adama" which is Lee's head on the Chief's body sculpt, a rather nice new sculpt of New Caprica Boomer (who comes with the "Cylon device" that Baltar found in the CIC in the Miniseries), the Red Stripe Cylons, and the Saul Tigh single figure is avaialble through the TRU website, but I haven't seen it in the stores.

Quoted from Art Asylum's website:
Quote:
Sometimes even the best of us guess wrong. In this case, we were caught off guard at how phenomenally well the Battlestar Galactica figures were selling in Toys R Us. Those poor stores are running out of figures at an alarming rate and the next assortment isn’t scheduled for another few months. What’s a boy to do? Simple, ramp up production on an accellerated schedule AND add a whole new wave of figures to the line-up. That means you are still going to get all of the figures you’ve seen us advertise, but you are also going to get a surprise wave with Boomer, Apollo, and a Cylon. You’ve seen the Cylon in other posts (Red Stripe), and I’m sure Apollo will be coming soon, but this post is dedicated to the lovely Grace (Boomer) Park. Keep watching the shelves…

Looks like they swapped the head off the old prototype Boomer figure (that looked like no one ever seen on BSG) for one similar (but a MUCH better sculpt) to the new Boomer duty blues figure.

New Caprica Boomer is the best likeness yet. Blues Boomer is an improvement...but still weird looking.

I like the Athena sculpt, too. The original Caprica Boomer is HIDEOUS.

I meant the one in the white jacket. Is that "New Caprica Boomer" or Athena?

White jacket is New Cap Boomer. Flightsuit is Athena. Love the groovy silver sneaks!

I picked up the MiniMates "Battle Damaged" Mark VII Viper and Cylon Raider today. I meant to just be picking up a few comic books, but Forbidden Planet hadn't had these in before, and they caught my eye. The viper comes with a flightsuited Starbuck, and the Raider with a red-stripe Cylon. They are rather adorable.

They are really cute, but as a Raptor girl, I am waiting for that. (Which they probably won't do.) Are the battle damaged different from the regular version? I know Hot Dog was the pilot in the other Viper.

I think they just have a different paint job. They both have little damage marks scattered around.

Yes, they are different. I ordered them at BBTS. (pre-order, now shipping)

The Tigh/Gaeta and Starbuck/Leoben two-packs are now available. Leoben looks a little like Bea Arthur with a beard, but everyone else seems okay. The Athena/Boomer two-pack is still backordered.

Tigh/Gaeta... that must have been from the webisodes.

Do they come with a little cylon sex kit accessory?
