Propworx is proud to announce the last of the Battlestar Galactica eBay auctions, “The 33 Auctions”. These auctions will feature items from the new Battlestar Galactica DVD movie, The Plan, as well as items from the Battlestar Galactica series.

The Plan tells the story of the Cylons, the Fleet and the resistance fighters on Caprica from the Cylon point of view. It spans the time from the mini-series through Season 2 and explains and expands on many of the Cylon story lines.

“The 33 Auctions” will launch every 33 days, featuring a wide variety of sought after props, costumes and set pieces—the last Battlestar Galactica items EVER to be offered for auction by Propworx. In addition to the iconic props from the series, Propworx is pleased to include props and costume specifically from The Plan, which will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray October 27th.

The first of “The 33 Auctions” will follow The Plan’s DVD release, and will start on Thursday, October 29th. It will continue until Thursday, November 5th. From there, the auctions will take place every 33 days for a total of 4 weeks.

The dates of “The 33 Auctions” are as follows:

eBay Auction Week One: October 29, 2009 – November 5, 2009

eBay Auction Week Two: December 8, 2009 – December 15, 2009

eBay Auction Week Three: January 17, 2010 – January 24, 2010

eBay Auction Week Four: February 26, 2010 – March 5, 2010

"Last" of course until the Special Anniversary Auction, or the Auction to Benefit Some Benefit.... or the Christmas on Caprica Auction, or whatever else. Last, my ear.

Given the amount of the auctions, they'll end up earning more money with the props than with the show itself. They'd be fools not trying to sell every pin and bolt as long as there are some die-hards ready to pay a sky-high price for it.

Bit of a lame collection this time around; not much interesting, although we do know that Tahmoh apparently favors Hangman when he's bored on set.

Yeah. I don't want that elephant.
And who's supposed to have written the notes on "Sharon's back-up (see description) notepad" ?

Perfectly understandable reaction. But I hope someday you can overcome the trauma and come to terms with elephants once again. ;)

If it's any help, I've got another somewhat amusing elephant bit in mind.

How tacky of them. If it's not, then why not anything as a trigger? How about a plastic scrunchy platypus?

Or Rose's light bulb. :)

Isn't this like the 137th set of Chief Tyrol "hero tools"?

Because I'm a nasty boy, I asked some innocent questions about the "Sharon dogtags" at propworx...
:french:

Ebay link for "Sharon's dog tags" :
Production description: Hero, bloodied dog tags labeled by production as worn by Grace Park, ''Sharon Valerii''. Production did not note the specific scenes in which these tags were used. Standard brass, six sided dog tags worn by colonial military personnel throughout the run of the Battlestar series.

my Propworx post
Quote:
As a matter of fact I'm wondering...
Are these Boomer's or Athena's dogtags? Boomer didn't wear hers when she was shot by Cally.
And in Rapture, there is a scene where Helo is holding Athena's (you have to look very closely), after he has shot her. Maybe that's these dogtags?

Image

Moreover, Athena wore her dogtags (without bloodstains...) after this episode, obviously. So, did Grace Park actually wear these dogtags?
Can anyone help?

I've kind of given up on Propworx ever having a clue without Joe Beaudoin there.

There's a set of Helo tags in the last auction (assuming, of course, this actually IS the last auction, in which case, I will still believe it when I see it) and it will be interesting to see what they go for- his tags have historically gone very high.

Also a lot of clipboards, which makes me happy, since I sort of still want one a bit. But most of it is nothing new, and a lot of stuff in lots of multiples; who needs four C-Bucs mugs, really? There is a detonator and a notepad that are both Grace hero items, which is cool.
