Why is this such a ghost town?
No more love for BSG or Helo & Athena?

I've picked up working on my Helo and Athena fic and look for someone to review and critique my ideas.

I suggest joining AO3; http://archiveofourown.org/tags/Karl%20 ... thon/works

will get you to the BSG stuff. Fandom has mostly shifted off boards to the LJ format, Tumblr, and AO3. People at AO3 are really good about betaing.

Still medical advisor (for the national social insurance system) in Strasbourg.... which is the Christmas Capital! You have to visit this town once during the Christmas Market!

I have started to voyage a bit, with groups & tour operators : Japan, NY, St-Petersburg, Iceland, Nepal, and Ouzbekistan next month.

I've traveled a bit too these last months : Quebec-Ontario in October, New Zealand in February and I'm going to Cuba in May.

I took my first vacation in ten years last March; London, Paris, Rome. Fell in LOVE with Italy. Need to go back.

Pierre; where in Japan? I'd LOVE to attend the Kindlesmarket.

A bit late, I need to re-learn to check ATS.....

Japan : it was an organized tour : Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Hakone, Tokyo (the classics)

https://www.tui.fr/circuit-grande-decou ... tycode=SXB

in French here, but you get the towns.

I LOVE Rome, was six times there. It's the "Urbs", after all.

I just come back from Uzbekistan : Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand (The Silk Road).

I cannot have enough love for Rome. I wanted to love Paris more than I did, but I only had a day there (and a night, since due to the Metro slowdown, I missed my train back to London and had to camp in a rather horrid hotel) but I may have done the wrong things. I took the Metro to La Tour Eiffel and walked back to Gare du Nord with a stop at Musee les Arts Decoratifs. :french:

Rome came about purely b/c I had watched the movie The Man From UNCLE, loved it, and thought "The scenery was pretty in that, maybe I'll visit Rome while I am here." I threw so many Euros, and quarters, and a pound, into the Trevi Fountain. I want to go back. I am SO jealous of your suburbs!

When I was in Japan it was in Kyushu, the lowest island on the chain, since my sister was teaching English in Miyazaki, in the Miyakonojo Prefecture. Such a fantastic country.

Kyushu must be very nice indeed.
Most tour operators don't include this island in their program.
Hokkaido is also often "forgotten". btw, we "knew" someone living in Sapporo, once. Right ?
