Grace played "Boomer the Robot", in a Sci-Fi thing called "Battlestar".

"Boomer the Robot". Sounds like a wacky, comic relief character George Lucas would come up with. :giggles:

Nice.

It will be interesting to see if they hit the right notes to make it a succesful remake. I hope so for Grace's career.

Well, there's really no point in trying to explain it in 15 seconds to someone obviously unfamiliar with the show.

You refer to a remake of Howard The Duck? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091225/

Grace looks great in those pics, but--jeez--she's 36! The amount of food she isn't eating to be that skinny at that age must be staggering.

It's sort of great that two people who had starring roles in what were the two singular SF shows of the 00s are doing a new show together. Have a bad feeling, though, that they'll be playing second fiddles to the white people in ways they never did on Lost and BSG. And I'll be amazed (just a feeling, again) if this goes any farther than--say--the Bionic Woman reboot.

Maybe she metabolizes food in a Cylonic way?
I remember her interview in the April 2008 issue of Where Vancouver: she mostly talked about food!

Oh well, I'll post the scans (made from the issue that Mrs. Alison Malone, Editor at Where Vancouver, kindly mailed to me) again:

Oh well, you tried. I never could figure out how the state of someone's health could be determined over the internet...let alone what their eating habits are.

Hey, if you were food deprived, wouldn't you talk about nothing but? ;)

I remember some cornball promo she did with Tahmoh where she made Cylon-inspired cocktails at a bar in Vancouver: her t-shirt read, "DON'T FEED THE MODEL." I think she's well-aware of the caloric demands of her profession.

In my defense 1. Pierre wrote that in like two point font and 2. stuck in between pictures of Grace Park. In a bikini.

Seriously though, I was just speaking as somebody nearly as old as Grace, with a not unreasonable caloric intake whose waistline is nowhere near hers.

(And as we all know Grace is a total professional. If she has a gut she's totally sucking it in there. Anything to make the scene work!)
